The ALPHA range of quality solder wires from Cookson Electronics is specifically designed for hand soldering, component attach and touch-up for surface mount technology. All solder wires are manufactured to ISO 12224-1 specification and test methods.

ALPHA cored solder wires are available in a choice of high-purity alloys, diameters and flux percentages, with the choice of no-clean, rosin/resin free and lead-free options. All alloys conform to ISO 9453.

The comprehensive range of ALPHA solder wires is designed to give excellent wettability, produce strong joints without spattering and leave minimal non-corrosive residues with good SIR for defect-free soldering.

LEAD-FREE

For soldering of Lead-Free assemblies, there are ALPHA cored wires available in the following alloy specifications: SACX, SAC305, SAC405 and Sn96.5/Ag3.5
